Siegfriedsbrunnen (Siegfrieds Fountain) Odenheim 3 by Richelieu88 Siegfriedsbrunnen (Siegfrieds Fountain) Odenheim 3 by Richelieu88
A picture of Siegfriedsbrunnen (Siegfrieds Fountain) in Odenheim/Germany [link].
Because the name Odenheim appears in an old Scripture of the Nibelungenlied [link] ("Manuscript C" from ca. 1230 in Karlsruhe, Znetrallandesarchiv) it was told, that the old fountain still exists near the forest. The monument was build in 1932 on this place, it was donated by the Jewish emigrant Sigmund Odenheimer ([link]) who was owner and manager of the Lane Cotton Mills in New Orleans/USA ([link]).

The whole monument: [link]
